PhD and Research Fellowships from NAST, Nepal

Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) has announced applications for fellowships in different categories. Last date to submit application is Mangsir 15. There are following catagory of grants.
1. PhD fellowship:

• 4 year fellowship (includes monthly stipends)
  
• has to work on NAST labs 
• register PhD student in Universities collaborating with NAST
• must have a Masters degree first division
• priority subjects: natural product chemistry, bio-technology, and Environment and biodiversity.    

2. PhD Scholarships:

• for PhD students in Nepal's Universities       

3. Research Grants:
a) One year research support, anyone with MS or PhD degree can submit proposals
b) Panchakanya Technology Innovation Grant:

• minimum qualification: BE or MSc
• research areas: innovation in brick manufacturing and bitumins
  

4. Fellowships and Assistantship:
a) Research Fellowship: Submit proposal for one year research to be carried out at NAST lab from PhD graduates. Priority areas: natural product chemistry, bio-technology and renewable energy
b) Assistant Research Fellowship: Submit proposal for one year research to be carried out at NAST lab from MS graduates. Priority areas: natural product chemistry, environment, bio-technology and renewable energy.
c) Junior Research Fellowship:

• minimum qualification: BE or MSc
• research areas: chemistry, environment, bio-technology and renewable energy, science communication
